This was another picture, when I was in Bogor, Indonesia. Last month, for a week for my self-treatment of my study stress recently. I chose food science, not as last option. But as my added value, in order to compare from one food stall to another cafe/restaurant. From a canteen hall to a dining hall, a reservation in a hotel lounge bar and so on. Btw this picture took place when I was having a dinner with my father. I ate sate/satay kambing with longing (nasi impit in malay language) at that time. Fyi, sate kambing is made from piece's of goat's flesh that was cut into cube pieces, that has added with kuah kacang (as nutty sauces) that has it's own nutty flavours and ingredients itself. Whilst, the nasi impit or lontong actually came out from ketupat. Back then, people only eat lontong from ketupat during hari raya (or marriage event,etc.). But after the today's technology era, this lontong or nasi impit could be easily found on the supermarkets/hypermarkets nearby (without the skin of the ketupat itself). Talking about kaki lima, it was actually a term for an Indonesian street food sellers. Some of them could park randomly across the street, right at the pedestrian zone. While others are freely wander themselves by streets, making them sell their own foods from one place to another. This is what makes me proud as Indonesian guy, that we not only have our own transportation liked angkot (Indonesia n minibus), but we also have our own food trucks. It's cheap, convienent, and the food they sell as delicious as other restaurants abroad (not including fine-dining ones). I bet their profitability as quite comfortable as their own lifestyle. Anyway, for those who want to go to Indonesia. Don't forget to try these traditional street food from pedestrian zone. It has various kinds of foods, and not just satay/sate only. Bakso, Soto, porridge, and many more. I hope you digest my message and please share it with your friends and family out there. Thank you very much in advanced, and have a great day. Plus, enjoy your weekends and free time readers #salamualaikum
